Our story
When the founders of Yellow Goat Design decided they should retire, they chose somewhere as close to paradise as it was possible without it actually being Tahiti - too far away.
So Mission Beach in tropical north Queensland was the obvious choice.
However, what they had not anticipated was that after 21 years of dealing with creatives from every corner of the globe, neither Sandra nor Jerzy were ready for the boredom of retirement - so it was cancelled.
Jerzy went back to his first love creating art works and unique homewares. Sandra discovered a wonderful skill in photography and also took on the job of marketing the results.
Their new business is called Blakkoka2 Design Gallery. The beautiful logo for the company was adapted from a work by artist and friend Carly Wieland.
